YAAAAH! I Get To Vote Next Week!

As an unaffiliated registered voter in NC, I didn't think I'd get to vote until November, when I'll be writing-in the names of Colin Powell for President, John Stossel for Vice-President and myself for Senate.  I was recently informed by my local board of elections that unaffiliated voters may choose either of the two major parties for whose candidates to vote.  I shall choose a Democrap ballot so as to vote against the worst of the worst in the various levels of vying in which these putrid party line professional politicians are participating.
Here in North Carolina, our putrid party line professional politicians make yours look like unranked rank amateurs.  Somehow, these pusillanimous poltroons, descendants of Dixiecrats have somehow managed to retain Raleigh in an iron vice grip of graft and grift for well beyond my half century of life here.  In both chambers of the legislature, in the governor's office and throughout the Council Of State, somehow, these Democraps have maintained control, during a time when North Carolina voters increasingly supported conservative, well, Repulsican candidates, as a lesser of two evils thing, in elections for national offices. There was the anomaly of John Edwards getting to the Senate.  That's definitely something for which the voters of North Carolina owe the nation an apology.  But in our defense, he was running against the epitome of the typical fat, tired, jowly old man that for many of us, even we conservatives, had become the perfect picture of pig trough politician.  And to make it worse, the Repulsican incumbent had been appointed to fill the vacated by suicide seat of the previous party lackey who was still in his first term when he offed himself.  And we were fooled in the '76 election, thinking that our near neighbor from Georgia was a Southern peanut farmer, rather than the socialist peanut brain we now know him to be. I'd bet that you don't know that in the history of the Carter family farm, every year that Jimmy managed it, it lost money.  The only years in which it showed a profit was when his drunken brother Billy operated the property.
On local and state levels, I don't yet know who all will be getting my votes.  I do know that in the gubernatorial race, I shall not vote for Beverly Perdue or Richard Moore.  These two are just the worst examples of ego-maniacal, power mad putzes.  These two exemplify all that is wrong with contemporary American politics.  They are truly the spoiled brat and bich little rich kids we hated in high school and college.
In the Presidential primary, I shall, if not proudly, at least gladly vote for Mike Gravel.  Our ballots were processed before he officially dropped out of contention for the Democrap nomination.  Now, he's seeking the nomination from the Libertarians, which proves that he's just another pukey politician.  But compared to the bich of all biches and the Wahabbi indoctrinated ultimate sleeper cell man, Gravel's a knight in shining armor.  At least he does support The Fair Tax, and his National Initiative for Democracy proposal has some merit.  So, North Carolina Democrat and unaffiliated voters, join me on May 6th in voting for Mike Gravel, which shall, in essence be a vote against full blown fascism and stone cold socialism.  And all Americans, join me on November 4th in writing in Colin Powell for President, John Stossel for Vice-President, and friends, family, and neighbors whom you know and trust for Congress.
